Paul McConnell

Paul McConnell is the Group Education Advisor at Riyadh Schools Group (RSG), where he leads curriculum oversight, quality assurance, and teacher development across a portfolio of schools serving thousands of students. Central to his work is a conviction that sustainable educational growth depends on investing in people, building the structures, culture, and support systems that allow talent to be recognised and developed from the ground up.

Paul brings over two decades of international education leadership, including twelve years with Nord Anglia Education across the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and China, before joining the Misk Foundation and, in 2024, the Riyadh Schools Group. He has held founding school leadership roles and has experience across multiple curriculum frameworks, including Cambridge, the International Baccalaureate, American Common Core, and the Saudi Ministry of Education national curriculum.

He holds MSA Certified School Accreditor status for the GCC and PENTA International Inspector accreditation and was one of the first NPQSL and NPQLT facilitators appointed in Saudi Arabia.
