David Jones
Principal - Springdales School Dubai
David has over 35 years` experience in education, mostly in the field of primary education, school leadership and evaluation inspection.
David has been a team inspector for Ofsted (UK) and EDT (UK) and has led Irtiqaa/ ADEK inspections and those for KHDA (DSIB), across public and private institutions. He has also worked in compliance and evaluation inspection for the Ministry of Education (Dubai) David is an inspector of BSO schools for EDT.
Across his broad inspection experience (evaluation and compliance), David has inspected all UAE curricula and school cycles.
Previous to inspection David was a primary teacher (including KG) and Headteacher for 15 years, including four years as an Executive Principal of two primary schools. He is a holder of the NPQH professional qualification. David is a primary science/STEM specialist and has been a SENDCO. In this role he has undertaken training projects for the UK government.
Currently David is principal of the prestigious Springdales School in Dubai and is in his third year of post.
Academically, David holds a Masters` degree in Education (Leadership and Management)
