Deputy Head of Pastoral Care and Adapative Teaching Coach - Australian International School
I am a Deputy Head of Pastoral Care and Adaptive Teaching coach with extensive experience in educational leadership, empowering both students and teachers to thrive. Grounded in the British, Australian, Emirates and New Zealand curricula, I focus on engagement, relationships, and achievement to drive meaningful outcomes for our students.
As a PB4L (positive behaviour for learning) facilitator, ESCM (essential skills for classroom management) coach, Level 2 CP (classroom profiling), and trained CP Instructor, I support teachers through coaching, structured reflection sessions, and adaptive practices that enhance instructional impact. I also design and deliver professional development and hands on stratagies, helping educators embed adaptive teaching and responsive leadership in their classrooms.
Passionate about Education Outside the Classroom, I hold qualifications in outdoor leadership and am an assessor for the Duke of Edinburgh and Sheikh Sultan Awards, promoting student growth, leadership, and resilience.
Through my work in pastoral care, adaptive teaching, restorative practice, and professional learning, I aim to make a lasting impact on the academic success, wellbeing, and personal development of students, teachers, and the wider school community. The opportunity to be able to speak at such a prestigious event is not only exciting but also a meaningful opportunity to contribute to the wider educational community and learn from so many inspiring colleagues.
