Dr. Benjamin Joel L. Breboneria or "Benjo", as his close friends and colleagues call him, has been exposed to the extensive yet fulfilling landscape of nursing education and leadership. It is his passion to empower others by utilizing the power of his voice to give opportunities for others to speak for themselves. He continually demonstrates high standards of excellence for himself, and through his innovative work using social media, he continues to expand an impressive global network of nursing colleagues at all levels of professional development. He envisions and manifests possibilities. Specifically, across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), he is known for his pioneering in the development of RN-BSN and graduate nursing programs. Moreover, he took the initiative through collaboration with his faculty to successfully achieve accreditation of his school of nursing by a U.S. organization, a rarity in KSA and the Middle East, and enabling his colleagues to replicate that accomplishment in the future. As a visionary in his grasp of the potential of social media and on-line learning platforms, Dr. Breboneria pioneered in KSA the provision of professional development focusing on nursing leadership and empowerment. He developed and led nearly 100 online webinars and professional training events that have brought together thousands of nurses and other professionals representing over 30 countries.
