The researcher has a Master’s degree in Gifted Students Education from Arabian Gulf University and has worked as a computer science teacher for 14 years. During her journey, she has worked with children from ages 10 to 18 in various capacities inside and outside the school. She developed a project-based learning kit with the Saudi Arabian National Center for Educational Career Development. Furthermore, she developed an assessment rubric and guide for student projects, participated as a judge in various national science competitions, and published multiple papers in conferences and forums across the Middle East. This topic is dear to the researcher as she hopes to improve the appetite for learning advanced computer topics for girls in Saudi Arabia and all over the world. She hopes the research will open the eyes of the Saudi community to this issue and help her gather the support needed to give girls a chance to explore this binary world and excel at it.
