Davide Ruscelli is a UNESCO Senior Project officer in charge of coordinating the Secretariat of the International Task Force on Teachers for Education 2030 since April 2024. In his current role Davide oversees the implementation of the 3 Main Lines of Actions of the 2022-25 TTF Strategic Plan, including the production of the Global Report on Teachers and the organization of the bi-annual Policy Dialogue Forum. Prior to that, Davide as worked as Education Project Officer at UNESCO Dakar responsible for strengthening teachers’ training and management in the Sahel region. In his previous role at UNESCO Dakar, Davide has overseen the implementation of the “Strengthening Learning Assessment Systems in Sub-Saharan Africa through TALENT”, a project funded by the GPE focused on capacity-building, knowledge management, knowledge generation and mobilization around learning assessments in sub-Saharan Africa and managed the office efforts on distance and hybrid learning initiatives in West and Central Africa targeting teachers and teacher trainers. Prior to joining UNESCO, Davide has worked with UNICEF Malawi focusing mainly on education systems strengthening at national and decentralized level. Davide holds a master’s degree in Compared International Relation from the University of Venice.
