Batool Hassan

My name is Batool Hassan, and I am an early years and primary educator based in the UAE, currently teaching Grade 1. I am passionate about inclusive, purposeful teaching that supports all learners, including SEND students, English Language Learners, and high-achieving students, both in the classroom and at home. I believe technology is one powerful tool among many, and when used intentionally alongside strong pedagogy, play-based learning, and meaningful relationships, it can remove barriers, amplify student voice, and increase access to learning.
As a Seesaw Ambassador, I model best practice in using digital platforms to support differentiation, assessment, and communication through visual scaffolds, audio support, and choice-based tasks that promote independence and inclusion, particularly for SEND learners. Beyond the classroom, I am a teacher influencer and content creator who has built a supportive global community of educators, often referred to as our “teacher besties.” Through LinkedIn and Instagram (@tumbleandteach.msbatool), I share practical, real-world strategies that highlight balanced and intentional technology use. I would be honoured to present at GESS, ideally alongside my teacher besties Ms. Farida Sehorwala, Ratana Nayeck, and Engi Salem, bringing authentic classroom practice, inclusive strategies, and community-driven leadership to support educators and learners alike.
