John Nichols is President of The Tutors’ Association (TTA), the UK’s professional body for tutors, and Co-Founder and Director of Get My Grades, an international education and consultancy organisation. An experienced educator and business leader, he combines classroom practice, sector leadership and complex international project delivery.

Since 2020, John has led TTA through significant reform and high-profile government engagement, representing a diverse membership and contributing to national policy discussions, including those surrounding the National Tutoring Programme. He previously taught science through the Teach First programme and holds a PGCE with Distinction from Canterbury Christ Church University and a BSc (Hons) from Durham University.

John has led the design and delivery of complex e-learning and consultancy projects around the world, including large-scale government programmes and strategic advisory work in developing and complex markets. His work spans curriculum design, teacher development and training, digital infrastructure and governance frameworks.

Drawing on extensive experience across state, private and supplementary education, John focuses on scalable, quality-assured models that align educational excellence with commercial and regulatory realities. His work on hybrid provision and distributed delivery models reflects a practical commitment to expanding access to high-quality international education and quality standards.
