Souhaib Azanki
Technology Director - OBELAS
Souhaib Azanki is the Director of Technology at OBELAS, specializing in EdTech, technology strategy, innovation, robotics, STEM research and development, K–12 digital publishing, digital transformation, and professional training.
Recipient of the *World’s Best Robotics Coach Award 2018*, Souhaib is recognized for advancing the integration of artificial intelligence in education and developing scalable, future-ready learning ecosystems.
At OBELAS, he leads the strategic planning and execution of technical content and advanced digital platforms, including AI-powered learning management systems, adaptive assessments, and data-driven educational tools. He has led large-scale digital transformation initiatives, guiding cross-functional teams through the complete journey from concept and planning to application deployment. His approach combines engineering precision with a strong educational vision to deliver measurable impact across K–12 and higher education.
An internationally recognized robotics expert, Souhaib has received more than 40 national and international awards and served as a judge at global competitions across the USA and Europe. He has also delivered training programs and keynote sessions to thousands of students and educators across the Arab region. He contributes to developing ICT, Computer Science, and AI curricula aligned with international standards and continues to advocate for the effective use of AI and emerging technologies in education.

Session Summary:
تجمع ورشة العمل التعاونية هذه أربعة معلمين لإظهار كيف يمكن للسقالات التعليمية الهادفة باستخدام التكنولوجيا والأدوات غير الرقمية أن تدعم في الوقت نفسه المتعلمين ذوي الاحتياجات التعليمية الخاصة والإعاقات، وتوسع آفاق الطلاب الموهوبين، وتشرك جميع المتعلمين في الفصول الدراسية متعددة القدرات. من خلال أمثلة حقيقية من الفصول الدراسية، سيرى المشاركون كيف تلبي السقالات التعليمية المستجيبة احتياجات المتعلمين أينما كانوا بينما تبني تدريجياً الاستقلالية. تُظهر الجلسة كيف تقلل التكنولوجيا من العبء المعرفي وتضخم صوت الطالب إلى جانب التربية القوية والعلاقات الهادفة. تعلم كيفية:
• تصميم سقالات تعليمية مرنة من خلال إنشاء هياكل دعم مستجيبة تتكيف مع المتعلمين المتنوعين باستخدام التكنولوجيا والأدوات التقليدية
• دمج التكنولوجيا الشاملة التي تدعم جميع المتعلمين مع الحفاظ على التوازن التربوي
• التمييز بفعالية باستخدام أساليب السقالات التعليمية التي تدعم وتوسع في الوقت نفسه المتعلمين المختلفين بنفس الهياكل الأساسية

Support to Stretch: Technology, Tools, and Scaffolding for Every Learner
Session Summary:
This collaborative workshop brings together four educators to demonstrate how purposeful scaffolding using technology and non-digital tools can simultaneously support SEND learners, stretch gifted students, and engage all learners in mixed-ability classrooms. Through real classroom examples, participants will see how responsive scaffolding meets learners where they are while gradually building independence. The session shows how technology reduces cognitive load and amplifies student voice alongside strong pedagogy and meaningful relationships. Learn how to:
• Design flexible scaffolding by creating responsive support structures that adapt to diverse learners using technology and traditional tools
• Integrate inclusive technology that support all learners while maintaining pedagogical balance
• Differentiate effectively by using scaffolding approaches that simultaneously support and stretch different learners with the same foundational structures
