Over a 21 year career Kevin O'Neill has worked in schools, both domestically in the UK and Internationally. He is a former Headteacher and Principal and has led inclusive schools in the IQM way for over a decade. Kevin is a former Microsoft Teacher of The Year and schools he has led have twice been the recipient of prestigious TES Awards. Kevin has worked as a HMI Schools Inspector, is a member Associate of Education Advisors and holds a Masters in School Leadership. Kevin is an eTwinning Ambassador for the British Council and remains passionate about connecting schools across the world through Global Learning projects. He is the Honorary Consul of Namibia to Ireland. Kevin thrives on confirming and challenging educators thoughts about what's possible in the world of teaching and learning. More than anything, he is a teacher at heart, with a wealth of experience teaching learners of all ages.

The Inclusive School Award(IQM) - Developing a Culture of Belonging: A Strategic Approach To Inclusion in Saudi Schools

Outlining the vision of IQM for schools across MENA with a particular contextual focus on Saudi. To improve the learning experience and outcomes of ALL pupils in Saudi schools. To support and steer school leaders in Saudi schools with a more robust and responsive framework for identification of best national practice and effective inclusive pedagogy. To develop inclusive leadership styles and empower schools to create cultures of belonging for all learners and stakeholders. To elevate standards and the culture of inclusion in Saudi schools, through awareness and distributed leadership, to the same robust standards of safeguarding. It is the responsibility of ALL patrons. To create a legacy of sustainability and future proof Saudi schools so that inclusion becomes the golden thread of school improvement and an integral part of the rigorous self-evaluation process. Good practice and inclusive schools will become accredited as such.
