Khalifa education award board restructured
Abu Dhabi: General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, issued a resolution on Tuesday to restructure the board of trustees of the Khalifa Award for Education.
As per the resolution, the board will be chaired by Shaikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs.
The resolution named the following members: Shaikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth, and Community Development; Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research; Hussain Ebrahim Al Hammadi, Minister of Education; Dr Amal Abdullah Al Qubaisi, Director-General of the Abu Dhabi Education Council (Adec); Dr Khalid Abdul Aziz Al Karki, member of Jordan’s House of Senate; and Mohammad Salem Al Daheri, Executive Director of Adec. The board will have a renewable tenure of three years.
