Sharlina Islam
Head of Curriculum and Assessment - Riyadh Schools Hittin
I am the Head of Curriculum and Assessment at Riyadh Schools Hittin, leading curriculum design, assessment systems, and teaching and learning across Kindergarten, Elementary, Middle, and High School. My role focuses on developing and embedding a standards-based curriculum aligned with international benchmarks, national requirements, and the school’s academic vision.
I lead whole-school assessment and data systems to track progress, inform intervention, and improve student outcomes, with a strong emphasis on literacy, numeracy, and instructional quality. I work closely with school leaders to build professional capacity through coaching, professional development, and clear expectations for teaching, learning, and assessment.
I also play a key role in school improvement planning and accreditation readiness, ensuring coherence between curriculum intent, classroom implementation, and measurable impact. I am passionate about systems-level leadership and using evidence to drive meaningful, sustainable improvement for all learners.
