Ratana Nayeck

My name is Ratana Nayeck, and I am an experienced primary educator and middle leader with over ten years of teaching experience across the UAE and Saudi Arabia. I have taught across KG and Primary and focus on building student independence, engagement, and conceptual understanding.

I have held middle leadership roles overseeing Moral, Social, and Cultural Studies across multiple phases, supporting curriculum development, assessment practices, and staff professional learning. I am particularly passionate about using technology for formative assessment, inclusive classroom strategies, and hands-on learning that makes learning meaningful and accessible for all students, as well as using data to help teachers support their learners more effectively.

Alongside my classroom practice, I have led after-school enrichment programmes, clubs, and child-friendly STEM activities, connecting learning to real-life experiences. I enjoy sharing practical, teacher-tested strategies that educators can immediately apply in their classrooms.

I would be honoured to present at GESS alongside my fellow educators and teacher besties Ms. Batool Hassan, Ms. Farida Sehorwala, and Ms. Engi Salem, bringing authentic classroom practice, inclusive strategies, and community-driven leadership to support educators and learners alike.
