Dubai Silicon Oasis' MoU with Society of Engineers

Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO), the integrated free zone technology park, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Society of Engineers (SoE UAE).

Under the agreement, DSO and SoE UAE will work to ensure the adoption of best practices and international standards in engineering and construction.

As part of its mandate to encourage young Emirati talent to join the engineering sector and facilitate the professional growth of employees, the two organisations will host training courses, workshops, seminars, conferences and continued education programmes.

Ghanim Al Falasi, senior vice-president, corporate services, Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority, said: “The agreement represents the growing aim of the two organisations to enhance the calibre of professionals and empower them to meet the challenges of implementing and maintaining the UAE’s state-of-the-art infrastructure that is acclaimed worldwide. The partnership will also enable Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority to share best practices with the Society of Engineers UAE and benefit from its expertise.”
