Strengthening Minds: Using BrainHQ to Enhance Student Learning
Session Summary:
This session explores how cognitive training can be used to enhance student learning and support classroom performance. Focusing on the use of BrainHQ, the presentation will examine how developing key cognitive skill, such as attention, memory and processing speed can have a direct impact on pupils’ confidence, independence and academic outcomes. Drawing on practical classroom experience at the British International School of Jeddah (BISJ), Debra Reid will share how BrainHQ has been implemented with students and the benefits observed across a range of learners. The session will also consider how cognitive training can complement high-quality teaching and align with whole-school improvement priorities. Attendees will leave with a clear understanding of the potential of BrainHQ in education, alongside practical strategies and ideas that can be applied within their own classroom or school setting.
