Abeer Samhan

Abeer Samhan is a STEM and AI Education Specialist, Makerspace Lead, and Mechatronics Engineer with extensive experience designing innovative, hands-on learning experiences that integrate artificial intelligence, robotics, coding, and digital fabrication into education.

She currently leads the Makerspace at SEK International School Riyadh, where she designs interdisciplinary learning experiences that empower students to become creative problem-solvers and future-ready innovators. Her work focuses on connecting emerging technologies with inquiry-based learning, design thinking, and real-world problem-solving.

Abeer is a Teacher Ambassador and an active contributor to the education community, supporting educators in adopting AI and emerging technologies through professional development, workshops, and innovative classroom practices. She also serves as a judge for national robotics and innovation competitions in collaboration with the Saudi Federation for Robotics and RC Sports and the Saudi Ministry of Education.

An international speaker and education advocate, Abeer has presented at leading education conferences, including Edu-Tech Summit KSA and GESS Saudi Arabia, where she shares practical strategies for transforming classrooms into future-focused learning environments. Her passion is making advanced technologies accessible, engaging, and impactful for both students and educators.
