Katia A. Chacra
PYP Head of School, Al Faris International School
Katia A. Chacra is an experienced educational leader with three decades of experience across international and private education in the Middle East. She currently serves as Head of School – PYP at Al Faris International School in Riyadh, leading the Primary Years Programme and supporting the development of high-quality teaching, learning, student agency, and whole-school improvement.
Throughout her career, Katia has held senior leadership positions including Superintendent, Director General, Academic Director, and Deputy Principal across schools in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and in the Middle East. She has also worked internationally with the British Council’s Connecting Classrooms Programme, supporting schools and educators in developing international-mindedness and global learning.
With a Master’s in Education Leadership and Management, Katia is passionate about values-led leadership, empowering students and educators, and creating cultures where leadership is shared, purposeful, and focused on meaningful impact.
