Dr. Eman Bin Khunayn

General Manager - Smart Cities Institute, King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST)

Eman Bin Khunayn is the General Manager of the Smart Cities Institute at King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) and Co-Director of the KACST–MIT Center for Complex Engineering Systems (CCES). She also leads the Responsible AI in Education project at the Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR) Saudi Arabia. She holds a PhD in Large-Scale Complex Systems from the University of Melbourne. Her work focuses on artificial intelligence, complex systems, geospatial analytics and smart cities, including research on urban intelligence, digital twins and data-driven decision-making.
