SPEAKER SESSIONS

26 May, 2025 | 16:35 to 16:55
Beyond Titles: Embedding Leadership as a Culture, Not a Role

As an executive leader and Vice Principal in one of the region’s most elite schools, I’ve seen first-hand that leadership isn't about titles—it’s about culture. In this session, I share my journey of transforming schools by empowering individuals at every level to think, act, and lead with purpose. Drawing on my experience as a British Council international consultant, Senior School Improvement Partner, and Specialist Leader of Education, I explore how we can move beyond hierarchical models and instead create environments where leadership is lived and breathed by everyone—from classroom teachers to students. This talk is about creating a mindset shift: where courageous conversations, reflective practice, and collaboration are the norm. I’ll offer practical strategies and real-life examples of how I’ve helped schools embed leadership into their DNA—so that leadership becomes not just something we do, but something we do.
