Salaamah Patelia

With more than two decades in both international and national school settings, Salaamah has remained driven by a single mission: creating environments where both students and educators can reach their highest potential.

Currently, she serves as the Head of Girls Campus at Al Forsan International Schools, where she is leading an amazing community of 3,000 students and over 350 staff members. Her work focuses on balancing the "big picture"—strategic enrollment growth and institutional compliance—with the human element of education, such as mentoring staff and fostering high-performing teaching cultures.

Over the course of her career, she has had the opportunity to establish new academic departments and launched inaugural initiatives.

Salaamah is passionate about integrating rigorous global standards—such as MAP, SAAT, SAT, and AP—with local and global requirements to ensure our students are competitive on a world stage.

Beyond the spreadsheets and policies, she believes her most important role is supporting the people who bring our campus to life. This means not only mentoring our staff through professional development and morale-building initiatives but also cultivating strong, transparent partnerships with our parents. By ensuring our families feel heard and valued, we create a unified support system that truly surrounds every student with the tools they need to succeed.

Salaamah holds a Bachelor’s in Education and a Professional Teaching Certification from South Africa. While her background includes training in leadership, accreditation, evaluations and quality assurance, she views herself first and foremost as a lifelong learner dedicated to the evolving landscape of education.
