Alisele Mwigani
Digital Literacy Educator - One World International School
Alisele Alfred Mwigani is an educator, librarian, and digital learning specialist with over 14 years of experience in international schools across Tanzania, Ethiopia, and Saudi Arabia. She currently serves as Head of the PYP Library, Digital Literacy Teacher, Research Skills Teacher, and Events Coordinator at One World International School Riyadh.
Passionate about helping students become confident researchers and responsible digital citizens, Alisele combines technology, literacy, and inquiry-based learning to create meaningful educational experiences. Her professional interests include information literacy, artificial intelligence in education, academic research, and educational innovation.
Alisele holds a Master’s degree in Information Studies, a Master of Education, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Information Studies at the University of Dar es Salaam. Her research explores how university students use artificial intelligence to access scholarly information in higher education.
Beyond the classroom, she is a published researcher, conference presenter, and advocate for lifelong learning, committed to empowering both students and educators in an increasingly digital world.
