Adlira Kolcu

I am a passionate and experienced educator with over a decade of teaching experience across diverse international settings, bringing together cultural perspectives from both Europe and Asia into my educational practice. Throughout my career, I have worked as a Math Educator, English Teacher, and currently as an IB PYP Grade 5 Homeroom Teacher at One World International School. I am committed to inquiry-based learning, student agency, and creating meaningful learning experiences that nurture internationally minded and reflective learners.

As part of an Apple Distinguished School environment, I actively integrate Apple learning tools to enhance creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and student engagement. Alongside classroom teaching, I have also contributed to leadership initiatives, curriculum development, and collaborative projects within international education. I strongly believe that continuous professional growth and lifelong learning are essential in order to evolve as an educator and provide students with the best possible learning experiences.
